Create your own online portfolio site on Wikispaces and label it with a title of your choice. (This should be a new wiki with a new URL, not just part of the class wiki, so it's easier for you to take with you and continue to build after the course is finished.)
For type, choose either K-12 Education or Higher Education as appropriate.
Click Create.
On your Wikispace portfolio site create your profile and a portfolio of work from this course.
Include at least 5 examples of your work. Artifacts from the major project are good choices for your portfolio, as are the other presentations you created in PowerPoint, VoiceThread, and Animoto or Xtranormal.
Your examples should be embedded in the wiki whenever possible, not just linked. Embedding them makes it easier for your audience (and the facilitator) to view your work as a whole.
Your portfolio should contain at least three pages. You may put multiple examples on a single page if they are related and it makes sense to connect them.
For each example of your work write a brief reflection on your growth as a learner while you were doing the activity. As you analyze your learning experiences, think about:
What were you thinking as you chose how to do the activity?
In what ways did you build on prior knowledge or develop new knowledge?
How did you overcome challenges with the project?
Did you make changes in your final product based on comments made by your PLC/PLN?
How will you use the skills you have developed doing this activity in the future?
Insert a link to your new portfolio site on the Activity 8-B-1 class wiki page. Include your first name and last initial with your link so your facilitator can identify your work.
